Cheap Flights to Seattle

Cheap flights to Seattle may be available through the many domestic airlines that serve the airport, and the international airlines too. In addition to Southwest Airlines, some of the other low-cost airlines flying into Seattle and likely to offer cheap flights are AirTran, SkyWest Airlines, Frontier, Horizon, Sun Country Airlines, Virgin America, and JetBlue.

Cheap Flights to Seattle: International
International airlines flying direct into Seattle include Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, Air France, Asiana Airlines, British Airways, Delta, EVA Air, Hainan Airlines, Icelandair, Korean Air, Lufthansa, and United Airlines.

Cheap Flights to Seattle: Domestic
The best budget fares to Seattle from within the USA are likely to be with Southwest Airlines. Southwest fly from a range of US cities including Albuquerque, Baltimore, Boise, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Nashville, Oakland, Phoenix, Reno/Tahoe, Sacramento, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Spokane and San Jose in California. Note that some of these flights only operate seasonally.

In addition to Southwest Airlines, some of the budget airlines flying into Seattle and likely to offer cheap flights are AirTran, SkyWest Airlines, Frontier, Horizon, Sun Country Airlines, Virgin America, and JetBlue.

Virgin America fly from Seattle to both San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Other US carriers with flights to Seattle are Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, United Express, and US Airways.

Flying San Diego-Seattle
If you want to drive the Pacific Coast Highway the full length of the west coast on a one-way car rental and then fly back, then both Virgin America and Alaska Airlines have flights between Seattle and San Diego.

Flying Los Angeles-Seattle
If you want to drive the Pacific Coast Highway between Los Angeles and Seattle, with a one-way car rental and a flight back, then Virgin AmericaUnited Express, and Alaska Airlines fly between Seattle and LA and are the most likely to have cheap flight deals. Also, Horizon Air and JetBlue fly between Seattle and Long Beach, which is another way of getting to Los Angeles and avoids having to deal eith Los Angeles international Airport.






SEATTLE-TACOMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Seattle's main airport is Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (code: SEA; tel: (206) 787-5388 or (800) 544-1965 ; website: http://www.portseattle.org/seatac/). It's about a 14-mile (20-25 minutes) drive south of downtown Seattle. There's a Link Light Rail Station at the airport, with a journey time of about 35-40 minutes to downtown. There is also a Metro bus service and the usual taxi and hotel shuttle services.

San Diego International Airport has three terminals: the Central Terminal, a North Satellite Terminal and a South Satellite Terminal. All international flights arrive at the South Satellite Terminal. where the US Customs and Immigration are based, and the three terminals are connected by an underground people mover system.
